• This office was able to obtain a recovery for a Bergen County resident who was struck by a motor vehicle during the course of our client's employment. After this office obtained workers' compensation permanent disability benefits for this individual, we were able to recover further additional benefits for this individual by way of settlement against the driver of the motor vehicle who struck our client as a result of the negligence of that driver at the time of this accident.

• Likewise, this office successfully represented a Hudson County resident who was involved in a motor vehicle accident during the course of our client's employment where our client's tractor-trailer was struck by another tractor-trailer. After workers' compensation permanent disability benefits were recovered, this client then received additional benefits in an action against the other tractor-trailer driver.

• Recently, this office was also able to obtain a recovery for a Bergen County resident as a result of severe injuries sustained when our client's motor vehicle was struck by a negligently operated government-owned motor vehicle. Despite the difficulty in prosecuting claims against governmental entities under New Jersey's Tort Claims Act, this office negotiated a substantial settlement for this client against the public entity defendant.

• In a recent premises liability claim, this office was able to recover a settlement for a Hudson County resident as a result of severe personal injuries sustained in a fall down accident due to inadequate lighting in a private multi-unit apartment building.

• Multiple avenues of recovery were also recently obtained on behalf of a Bergen County resident who was involved in a motor vehicle accident during the course of employment with an unidentified truck that fled the scene of an accident without stopping and another vehicle that then struck our client's vehicle in the rear. After receiving workers' compensation permanent disability benefits, our client then obtained a recovery from the insurance carrier of the vehicle that struck our client's vehicle in the rear, along with additional benefits from our client's personal automobile insurance carrier due to the involvement of the unidentified truck. Likewise, further benefits were obtained from our client's parents' automobile insurance carrier due to the involvement of the unidentified truck.
